khanabadosh

travellers across the sands of time reach an oasis after long
under the shadows of the stars that night they wonder what went wrong

for tomorrow means different roads, roads to be walked alone
in the cup of wine they share, sundry cracks have grown

quiet they sit, pondering over the roads they must now take
having lost all they had, there's nothing more to stake

misty mountains, babbling brooks; keep crossing their mind
but travellers across the sands of time, leave no footprints behind
