Coming back to life...

The night after I ran away from home, I was witness to a death, in fact I had a hand in it. That very night, I started running.. again. But this time, I was running away from myself, from the world around me. The world was something I could not understand and I could not fathom why it could not understand me. So I ran, ran on the streets of deserted Vijaywada. Ran, because I did not know the way. Ran, till someone found me and took me to my cousin.

A week later, I was back home in Delhi. I ran away again, and again. People came by, people went. But I continued running, and after a while I didn't even know where I was going, and from what I was running, but I was running. And then one day I fell and I could not run anymore. I was just driftwood from thereon. Floating with the current, I passed out from all knowledge.

Somewhere near the edge, I was found by the most unlikeliest of angels, to whom I asked...

Where were you when I was burned and broken
While the days slipped by from my window watching
Where were you when I was hurt and I was helpless
Because the things you say and the things you do surround me
While you were hanging yourself on someone else's words
Dying to believe in what you heard
I was staring straight into the shining sun

Lost in thought and lost in time
While the seeds of live and the seeds of change were planted

Outside the rain fell dark and slow
While I pondered on this dangerous but
I took a heavenly ride through one silence
I knew the moment had arrived
For killing the past and coming back to life

I took a heavenly ride trough our silence
I knew the waiting had begin
And headed straight... into the shining sun

I was found again, I was up again and I was running again. Because it was time for killing the past, and coming back to life....

Good that you met an angel and stopped running. And I quite so much like the line 'Nomad with a Desk Job.'
